Fashion Week

We got to go to LA last week and look at all the gorgeous clothes coming our way this spring! Those of you expecting babies in the summer will have so much fun shopping when the new lines come in. There were great dresses and terrific colors. We had a blast picking clothes for the store.

We have a partnership with local photographer Kyle Zimmerman and she came by with her photos for the store this weekend. They are gorgeous! Stop by to see what a change they made to our look. We offer a Kyle special to customers who spend over $350, come see what you need.

We're getting so much great furniture in the store (and we're learning so much about putting it all together)! As you can see, Buggy loves the Tripp Trapp. This high chair is great because you can pull it right up to the table and it grows with your child. It comes in lots of fun colors. This is Alyson, we call her Baby Buggy most of the time and she's our store baby. She's here loving the new Bloom loungers that we have in the store. Glowing Groups

Sign up for a Glowing Mom's Group! Mom's groups give you a chance to meet with other moms who have the same questions and concerns that you do. We found our moms group invaluable for getting us through those firsts of motherhood (that's our current group up there and the babies in 2005 when our group first started).

We will lead the first few groups to get you going and then your group will decide when and where to meet for future meetings. We will have our first group on Wednesday, September 3rd at 10 am. If your baby was born in September or is due in September, this is your group. Send an email to sara@glowingmama.com titled moms group and give us your name, due date and phone number if you would like to be contacted for upcoming groups. We will start a new group each month. We can't wait to meet you and your baby!

One month down!

Has it really been a month already?? This picture was taken the day we took ownership of Glowing, 7/1/2008. Since then we've learned a TON about retail, owning a business, ourselves and each other. It has been fun and stressful but we're so glad we took the leap.
We've started to get in all of the new product we've ordered. Our fall Maternity clothes are arriving daily and lots of new baby stuff and baby furniture is in the store. Fun, fun, fun!
